Amma's visit to Nairobi, Kenya in April 2009. Members of the Masai tribe presented Amma with the title of tribe elder. Amma inaugurated "Amrita Childrens home" for 108 children, providing them with shelter, food, education and healthcare. 2000 poor students received an annual scholarship. It shows a captivating speech by Kenyan Human right activist Dr. P.L. Lumumba at Amma's program. Eric Wainaina, UN Ambassador and a famous singer in Africa, performed for Amma.
